Job Description


General Nature of Work
The Marketing Assistant is responsible for providing support to senior marketing staff as the executive marketing campaigns and analyst their impact. Their duties include handling interdepartmental communications, preparing data reports in a clear format and creating surveys, questionnaires and other tools to measure marketing impact.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Gathering data on campaign success, often through collecting audience feedback
  • Creating detailed and visually appealing graphs and present them to business decision-makers
  • Support the work of leadership and executives on projects and initiatives directed at maximizing company profitability
  • Assisting with the setup, facilitation, and completion of marketing events
  • Overseeing the design and graphics of marketing materials
  • Conducting market research to better understand the marketing needs of the organization and its target audience
  • Compiling and distributing information such as website and social media analytics
  • Monitoring social media accounts, creating content, and responding to messages
  • Analyzing questionnaires
  • Contributing ideas to marketing campaigns
  • Compiling and distributing financial information
  • Writing marketing and website text
  • Organizing presentations and events
  • Assisting with promotional activities
  • Liaising with customers/external agencies
  • Helping to organize market research.
  • Additional duties as assigned.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, and ABILITIES

KNOWLEDGE
  • Knowledge of Microsoft office including but not limited to Excel, Word, PowerPoint etc\xe2\x80\xa6
  • Knowledge of web analytics

  • Demonstrates initiative to provide quality of services and improve efficiency
  • Maintains positive working relations with co-workers
  • Time management skills
  • Detail oriented with above-average organizational skills
  • Excellent customer service skills and communicates clearly/effectively
ABILITIES
  • Ability to plan and prioritize to meet company deadlines
  • Ability to maintain HIPAA compliance
  • Ability to prepare documents in response to complaints and inquiries
  • Ability to examine documents for accuracy and completeness
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelors degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing or related field required
  • 1-2 years of PR/Marketing experience preferred

Physical Requirements: Tasks require the ability to exert light physical effort in sedentary to light work, but which may involve some lifting, carrying, pushing and/or pulling of objects and materials of light weight (5-10 pounds). Tasks may involve extended periods of time at a keyboard or work station.

Work Environment: Essential functions are regularly performed without exposure to adverse environmental conditions.
