Job Description


Overview

The Marketing Assistant is responsible to support Regional Director of Marketing, Sales Team, and Executive Director. The ultimate objective is to assist Otterbein in meeting/exceeding all nursing/post-acute sales goals and managing all activities associated with the referral marketing/sales process from initial contact with leads, family members, referral sources and all other potential customers.

Responsibilities

  • Assist Otterbein to Increase admissions and occupancy. This responsibility is carried out in partnership with the marketing and operations departments.
  • Develop, recommend and implement systems, processes, and procedures to ensure the efficient operation of the nursing/post-acute sales & marketing function
  • Support referral relationship activities.
  • Assist in the Management of outbound marketing (advertising, collateral, PR, events, web, etc.)
  • Measure success and seek and evaluate ongoing opportunities for improvement
  • Manage REPS and RSM relative to sales conversion ratios, inquiry statistics, referral sources, weekly sales activity reports, lost inquiries, etc. for reporting purposes
  • Plan and execute events and activities on campus that provide outreach, internal marketing strategies and new inquiries to our campus for meeting occupancy goals.
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
  • Candidate must have a mission-driven passion for serving older adults
  • Must be able to communicate with older persons who are ill, disabled, and/or emotional and cope with the related mental and emotional stress.
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Excellent communication skills: listening, verbal and written
  • Assist the Marketing Team with the implementation of a complete marketing program and marketing initiatives. Specifically, the Marketing Assistant will be required to help write and design marketing materials, which include but are not limited to articles, presentations, brochures, press releases, and monthly company newsletters.
  • Help with website organization and updates.
  • Must be detail oriented, able to prioritize and utilize effective time management skills and be flexible to adjust to impromptu situations on a regular basis
  • Experience with applicable PC-based CRM computer programs such as REPs; a CRM
  • Education: Bachelor\'s degree preferred.
  • Experience: At least 3 years of experience in a service based business and/or classroom and practicum experience in healthcare or senior living organization. Experience with excel, word, publisher.
