Job Summary: As a Market Cafe Attendant at Oxford Athletic Club, you will be a vital part of our upscale health club experience, providing exceptional service to our members and guests. Your role involves not only serving and preparing food and beverages but also enhancing the overall member experience with your professionalism, friendliness, and attention to detail. Oxford Athletic Club is the most extensive private health and fitness club in the Pittsburgh area and is nationally recognized by the Health & Fitness Association (HFA).

Full -time
position; have flexible availability for the mornings, afternoons, evenings, and weekends.
Part- time
position; available evenings and weekends.
Essential Job Duties:
Member and Guest Service
Greet members and guests with a warm and friendly demeanor.
Provide prompt and attentive service, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
Address and resolve any member or guest concerns in a courteous and efficient manner.
Food and Beverage Service
Take accurate food and beverage orders from members and guests.
Prepare and serve food and beverages promptly and in accordance with the cafe's standards.
Ensure the presentation of food and beverage meets the Club's highest quality standards.
Cafe Operations
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the cafe area.
Assist in the preparation of cafe items, including basic food and beverage preparation.
Follow all health and safety regulations to ensure a safe and sanitary environment.
Sales and Transactions
Process member and guest transactions accurately using the point-of-sale system.
Promote cafe specials and upsell items to enhance the member experience.
Team Collaboration
Work closely with the cafe team to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
Participate in team meetings and contribute to a positive team environment.
Product Knowledge
Maintain knowledge of cafe menu, including ingredients, preparation methods, and potential allergens.
Stay informed about health club events and promotions to effectively communicate with members and
guests.
Qualifications
Previous experience in a similar role within a country club or upscale environment is preferred.
Must be ramp certified or receive their ramp certification within 30 days of their hire date.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Basic knowledge of food and beverage preparation and safety standards.
Positive attitude and a strong work ethic.
Availability to work flexible hours, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
High school degree or equivalent preferred.
Must pass background check.
Ability to speak English.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand, walk, and move around for extended periods.
Ability to lift and carry items up to {specific weight, e.g., 25 pounds}.
