air conditioned environment

Certified technicians in Yamaha jet, Yamaha, mercury outboards and Rotax jet engines preferred and top pay for those with these qualities.

Responsibilities

Perform routine maintenance and repairs on marine vessels, including engines, electrical systems, and mechanical components. Utilize hand tools and welding equipment to fabricate parts as needed for repairs. Diagnose issues using mechanical knowledge and troubleshooting techniques to identify problems accurately. Conduct inspections of marine equipment to ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations. Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently while maintaining high-quality workmanship. Maintain accurate records of repairs and services performed on each vessel. Stay updated on the latest technologies and techniques in marine maintenance and repair.

Requirements

Proven experience in vehicle maintenance or a related field, with a strong understanding of mechanical systems. Proficiency in using hand tools, welding equipment, and soldering techniques. Strong electrical knowledge related to marine systems is preferred. Ability to read technical manuals and schematics for troubleshooting purposes. Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. A valid driver's license is required; additional certifications related to marine technology are a plus.
