Marine Service Technician

Location: Chester, MD

Job Type: Full-Time
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM (occasional weekends during peak season)
Pay based on experience and skill level

Overview:
Pocket Yacht Company is hiring a full-time Marine Service Technicians to join our dynamic team. We're looking for skilled professionals with marine industry experience who can diagnose, repair, and maintain a wide range of yacht systems. Responsibilities:

Service and maintain gasoline outboard and diesel inboard engines Install and troubleshoot complex electrical and electronic systems Repair plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, and fiberglass/gelcoat Perform seasonal commissioning and winterization Haul and block vessels using hydraulic trailers Operate and transport boats via water and trailer Attend manufacturer training (Yamaha, Garmin, Volvo Penta)
Requirements:

Prior experience in the marine industry (required) Strong knowledge of marine engines and systems ABYC and Yamaha certifications (preferred) Valid driver's license and ability to trailer/operate boats Own tools and maintain a clean, organized workspace Excellent communication and computer skills Professional appearance and attitude Ability to pass background and drug screening

Projected Total Compensation: $60,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
