Job Description

This Manufacturing Technician III role has a specialized focus on selective programming, equipment operation, and advanced technical support within a high-mix manufacturing environment. The position serves as a technical lead for selective equipment, owning machine programming for new products, supporting line startups and changeovers, and acting as the first line of defense for mechanical and equipment-related downtime.

Hours: Monday - Thursday, 4PM - 3AM.

You must pass a pre-employment vision exam (all candidates must be able to accurately distinguish colors used to identify electronic components, indicators, and markings).
You must pass a dexterity test among others at discretion of employer.
You must have an excellent understanding of manufacturing, strong understanding of electronics.
You must have the ability to read schematics.
You must have the ability to work self-directed.
You must be a team player.
You must thrive in an environment experiencing routine and rapid change.
You must have excellent organization and decision-making skills.
You must have a high level of energy and enthusiasm.
You must have the ability to continuously find and deliver productivity.

Education and experience of a successful candidate:

2-year college degree in electronics or related field plus a minimum of 4 years direct experience, or 8+ years of direct experience in equivalent role.
Certification(s) for electronic assembly equipment
Trained in implementing lean manufacturing practices and /or trained in Six Sigma.
