Arc-Tronics Inc. is a privately held Electronic Manufacturing Services (EMS) provider. Arc-Tronics provides end-to-end assembly services for highly complex electronic components within the Medical, Aerospace, Defense, Communication, and Industrial markets.

Arc-Tronics has a dynamic opportunity within our Maintenance Department.

Following are the duties & responsibilities of this position:

Duties and Responsibilities:

Maintain departmental housekeeping standards, keeping work area clean and safe at all times. . Maintain a good attendance record and positive attitude. Support company policies and be safety conscious at all times. Address or report safety concerns immediately. Ensure all equipment is lubricated properly by checking and greasing equipment. Check bearings, chains, and belts for abnormal wear. Replace as necessary. Perform preventative maintenance as needed. Troubleshoot and repair equipment. Facility maintenance. May be required to do light plumbing, carpentry, and mechanical tasks. Assist with mechanical breakdowns. Assist in the maintenance and repair of the grounds. Remove trash, sweep walkways, and shovel snow. Work extended schedules as the needs of the business dictate. Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications, Education and Experience

Requires education generally equivalent to a high school diploma and one to three years related experience to become familiar with equipment and processes. Previous PCB Manufacturing Experience preferred Preferred Experience with Electronics Assembly, SMT Technology, Wave & Selective Soldering, and Placement Equipment Mechanical aptitude and technical skills. Must be skilled in the use and operation of common hand and power tools and measuring devices. Experience in performing duties as described and the ability to follow oral and written instructions involving those duties. Basic electrical skills including use of voltmeters, ohmmeters and pipe benders Basic understanding of mechanical, electrical, plumbing and HVAC systems. Basic Math Skills Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.

Physical Requirements

The employee is frequently required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle or touch objects, tools, or controls; reach above shoulders; and talk and listen. The employee is occasionally required to climb, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; and use foot/feet to operate machine. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 40 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 80 pounds. Must be able to work at heights, climbing ladders and stairs

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $28.00 per hour
