Overview

We are seeking a skilled Production Operator to join our dynamic manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various manufacturing processes and be proficient in operating a range of machinery. This role is essential to ensuring the smooth operation of our production line and maintaining high-quality standards.

Duties

Operate and monitor production equipment, including CNC milling machines, flexo presses, stamping presses, and press brake machines. Perform setup and adjustments on machinery to ensure optimal performance. Utilize programmable logic controllers (PLC) for machine operation and troubleshooting. Conduct quality control checks using precision measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers to ensure products meet specifications. Read and interpret blueprints and CAD designs to understand production requirements. Collaborate with team members on the assembly line to ensure efficient workflow and materials handling. Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols. Assist in fabrication processes, including welding and tooling as needed. Participate in regular maintenance of equipment to prevent downtime.

Experience

Proven experience in a manufacturing facility with hands-on factory experience is preferred. Familiarity with CNC programming, CAM programming, GD&T, and mechanical knowledge is highly desirable. Experience operating forklifts and other materials handling equipment is a plus. Strong understanding of basic math principles for measurements and calculations related to production tasks. Ability to work effectively in a team environment while also being self-motivated. Previous experience with quality control processes and assembly operations will be beneficial.
