About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Manufacturing Team Lead to guide and support a team in achieving production goals. In this role, you will foster a culture of safety, continuous improvement, and teamwork. Your leadership will be crucial in ensuring the efficient operation of manufacturing processes and the development of team member capabilities.

Responsibilities

Onboard and train new team members, serving as their initial point of contact and resource. Conduct pre-shift meetings to communicate updates on safety protocols, quality standards, HR policies, and production targets. Enforce adherence to safety guidelines and ensure team members have appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Collaborate with team members to identify and implement continuous improvement ideas. Escalate production issues and systemic problems to the appropriate Group Leader. Maintain open communication with Team Leads and Leaders across shifts. Monitor and update Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and other relevant metrics. Develop, maintain, and audit Team Member Standard Work procedures. Oversee the completion of Hour by Hour Boards, 5S Audits, and Dupont Stop Observations. Use conflict resolution skills to resolve issues, providing coaching and support. Utilize SAP to support and enhance the manufacturing process.

Required Skills

Prior experience leading teams in a work or volunteer setting. Demonstrated leadership abilities. Excellent communication, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills. High school diploma or equivalent. Ability to stand, sit, bend, and stoop for extended periods. Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds.
