You will be a Manufacturing Planner Senior for the PAC-3 Sustainment PP&C team. Our team is responsible for supporting the PAC-3 Program and Depots.
What You Will Be Doing
As the Manufacturing Planner, Senior, you will act as the team lead for the PAC-3 Sustainment PP&C team, responsible for shortage management for all Sustainment hardware. You will oversee the management of hardware from loading the requirements to tracking parts with GSC, and then from issue to installation of the part.
Your responsibilities will include:

• Working in the Production, Planning and Control organization as a Demand or Supply Planner.

• Coordinating interdepartmental activity and issue management with quality assurance, manufacturing, purchasing, engineering, inventory control, traffic, contracts administration, etc.

• Scheduling and expediting the movement of parts by means of move orders, stock transfers and requests for shipping orders

• Assisting with team building and training as necessary

This position is located in Arlington, TX.
MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a secret clearance. A company-sponsored interim secret is required to start.
Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education.
• Ability to obtain a security clearance. An Interim Secret clearance is required prior to starting.
• Demonstrated proficient knowledge of computer systems, databases, and programs
• Possess knowledge of lean manufacturing
• Demonstrate strong analytical, problem-solving,

and multitasking skills

• Experience with SAP

Desired skills

• Inventory Control and material handling knowledge
• Experience with material requirements and
• Dock/Receiving/Warehouse/Shipping areas.
• Green Belt trained / certified
• Ability to understand engineering drawings and parts lists
• APICS Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) certification
• Demonstrates informal leadership qualities
• Knowledge of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and/or Material Management and Accounting System (MMAS)

Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedule Information
Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed.
