Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Production Operator to join our dynamic manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various production processes and machinery, ensuring high-quality output while adhering to safety standards. This role is essential in maintaining the efficiency of our manufacturing operations and contributing to the overall success of our facility.

Duties

Machine operation:

Set up, operate, and adjust food processing and packaging machinery, including mixers, fillers, ovens, and labeling machines.

Production monitoring:

Observe automated production lines to ensure a consistent and high-quality product. This includes adjusting machine settings for factors like speed, temperature, and mix levels.

Quality control:

Perform regular quality checks, such as inspecting products for consistency, weight, and proper packaging. Report any product defects or equipment malfunctions to a supervisor.

Ingredient handling:

Accurately measure, weigh, and load raw materials into production equipment according to recipes or batch records.

Packaging and labeling:

Operate packaging machines and ensure finished products are sealed, labeled, and coded correctly before being prepared for shipment.

Sanitation and safety:

Clean and sanitize equipment and work areas to meet food safety standards (e.g., HACCP and GMP). Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).

Pay: $19.00 - $19.50 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
