Key Responsibilities:

Supervise daily machine/fabrication operations including scheduling, production and quality Develop and implement strategies to optimize production processes and procedures Ensure all output is manufactured correctly, cost effective and timely meeting customer expectations Lead and motivate a team of production staff to meet goals and deadlines Collaborate with other departments to schedule production and coordinate resources Monitor and analyze production data to identify areas for improvement Design, build and utilize fixtures as required to produce production components Support operation of multiple machines in unattended made to maximize productivity Manage, improve and document operational systems, processes, and best practices Oversee the transition of parts through manufacturing including quality, assembly, inventory and shipping. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards

Qualifications:

Bachelor's in Business, Manufacturing Management, or related field Minimum of 5 years of experience in a manufacturing leadership role Strong leadership, written and verbal communication skills Ability to read and interpret blueprints, part specs and material specs Experience with machining of Stainless Steel, aluminum and plastics Knowledge of TIG, MIG, torch welding, bead blasting and passivation Proven track record of driving process improvement and achieving results Experience with Lean manufacturing principles is a plus
