Summary

Our growing company is looking for an entry-level Manufacturing Helper to join our team!


As a Manufacturing Helper you will assist Machine Operators on production equipment with an emphasis on safety and quality. As a member of the team, you will receive the training and experience needed to advance to the role of Machine Operator.

Schedule

: 1st shift (8:00am to 4:00pm)

Pay rate

: $18.00/hr

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Assist in the safe operation of production equipment to produce quality products by adjusting machine controls for speed, temperature, pressure, etc. Understands and adheres to all safety rules and procedures. Produce orders on time to satisfy customer needs and production requirements. Perform product labeling, packing, wrapping and helping to supply line for production. Assists with all required quality inspections, testing, and production documentation. Comply with company standards regarding housekeeping and 6S on machines andsurrounding areas. Helps perform routine preventative maintenance and assists maintenance personnel asneeded on machine related issues. Other duties as assigned by plant leadership, production leads, or shift leads.

Preferred Qualifications

Extrusion experience College-level courses or trade school preferred, but not necessary. Ability to operate hoists, pallet jacks, and other related equipment.

Physical Requirements

Frequent standing, walking, and bending. Pushing, pulling, lifting at least 40lbs. Eye/hand coordination.
