What You'll Do
Execute hardware upgrades on tabless machines to enhance Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) by improving availability, yield, and rate
Follow detailed checklists to guide upgrade processes while proactively refining and optimizing workflows during project rollout
Maximize efficiency, reduce downtime, and ensure upgrades deliver expected performance benefits
Collaborate with production engineers to ensure safe, efficient operation of production lines while maintaining high-quality output
Troubleshoot issues using PLC, HMI, or tool management software and implement process enhancements and debug and optimize automated processes to improve cycle times and OEE
Assemble and test manufactured goods, conduct analytical tests, and record/interpret data using established tools and software
Perform setup, operation, adjustments, and maintenance tasks to ensure equipment meets safety, quality, and efficiency standards during development and commissioning phases
What You'll Bring
3+ years of hands-on experience with manufacturing equipment, including root cause analysis and problem resolution in a high-volume, dynamic environment
Proficient in metalworking and fabrication (band saws, grinders, mills, lathes), and knowledgeable in hand and power tools, as well as pneumatic equipment. Experience with low voltage systems, basic electrical tools (digital multi-meter, meg-ohm tester, thermocouple meters), and wiring is essential
Skilled in using technological tools and business systems for data management, analysis, and interpretation. Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and a structured, data-driven approach to problem-solving
Familiarity with battery cell technology and equipment is a plus
Must have command of the English language both written and verbal
Essential Physical demands:Ability to perform physically demanding work for extended periods of time, up to 12 hours a day
Ability to stand and walk for up to 12 hours a day, including over varied and uneven terrain
Frequently and repetitively, lift, push and carry up to 35 lbs., including the ability to carry 20 lbs. up and down stairs
Frequently and repetitively, bend, lift and reach
Stoop, lay, bend, reach, squat, kneel, crouch, twist and crawl for extended periods of time, including up to 12 hours a day
Climb and maintain balance on ladders, scaffolding or other high structures
Ability to find issues in a work process and receive safety signals using sight, touch, or hearing
Wearing Personal Protective Equipment, including but not limited to: PAPR, safety glasses, safety shoes, bump caps, and adhering to prescribed safety rules and guidelines
