MagTech is currently hiring for a Manufacturing Engineer for a current client in the Sterling Heights, Michigan area. Please apply below if you are interested and meet the qualifications.
Description:
Their primary responsibility will be to support process optimization, equipment improvements, automation efforts, and product quality initiatives across the plant.
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate, improve, and document manufacturing processes for efficiency and quality
- Troubleshoot equipment and support cycle-time reduction initiatives
- Assist with automation projects and digital workflow improvements
- Support APQP, PPAP, and new product introduction activities
- Participate in root-cause analysis and continuous improvement efforts
- Bachelor's degree in engineering
- (Mechanical, Industrial, or related field preferred)
- Experience in a manufacturing environment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to read/interpret engineering drawings and apply GD&T
- Proficiency with computers and ERP systems (SAP or similar)
- 1st Shift
