We are looking for high performing and motivated individuals in various areas within DTNA organizations. DTNA internships begin each summer in May or June.
Interns in this role may have the opportunity to transition into a full-time position subject to manager evaluations and business availability.
As a Manufacturing Engineer Intern at the Cleveland plant, you will support key initiatives to improve production efficiency, quality, and safety. This role involves hands-on experience with tools and equipment, assisting in the design and optimization of manufacturing processes, and supporting continuous improvement projects on the shop floor. You will collaborate with engineers and operators to analyze current workflows, identify inefficiencies, and implement practical solutions. Tasks may include creating work instructions, developing layouts, conducting time studies, and supporting tooling or fixture design. This internship offers a valuable opportunity to gain real-world engineering experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, contributing directly to operational excellence and lean manufacturing goals.
