:

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Perform various pre-finishing functions on window, door, and misc. parts and pieces from start to finish

Advise team members of shortages/quality issues

Inspect each phase of pre-finishing to assure quality

Review and maintain production dates for completion

Identify proper materials and orientating them properly for pre-finishing

Assure quality standards understood and they are met

Ability to constructively work with others

Perform Safety audits

Follow standard work, control plans, and written work instructions

Participate in continuous improvement process and other lean initiatives

Coach and train new associates

Assure conformance with the 5S program

Assure compliance with all safety related safety policies and procedures

Understand and participate in achieving departmental and company goals

Assist with hazardous waste management



QUALIFICATION AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

High School Graduate/GED/HSED

Basic reading and math skills

Ability to read a tape measure

Demonstrated attention to detail

Oral communication skills

Basic team skills

Basic organizational skills

Ability to operate bar coder

Physical ability to perform job duties

Demonstrated ability to work without direct supervision

Understanding of related safety policies and procedures



WORK PACE:

Work Pace Type: Task Defined

The work pace will be determined differently depending on material being built.

Overtime: Occasionally workers will be required to work overtime

Pay Range:

$22.20 - $25.34

PROFIT SHARING: In 2025 Andersen has set a profit-sharing target of $3,500 per eligible employee, prorated as appropriate Profit Sharing will be paid out in quarterly installments to provide eligible employees with payments throughout the year, with payment amounts tied to quarterly operating profit performance.
