Responsibilities

Operate and maintain various manufacturing equipment, including hand tools, power tools, and forklifts, ensuring smooth production flow. Assist with assembly line tasks by assembling components accurately and efficiently according to specifications. Use mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot equipment issues and perform routine maintenance to minimize downtime. Load, unload, and organize materials within the warehouse or manufacturing floor using forklifts and other warehouse equipment. Follow safety protocols diligently, conducting inspections of tools and machinery to ensure a safe working environment for all team members. Support inventory management by tracking parts and materials, preparing shipments, and maintaining accurate records. Collaborate with team members to meet production goals while adhering to quality standards. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area to promote safety and efficiency throughout the facility.

Requirements

Prior experience working in a manufacturing facility or factory environment is highly preferred. Demonstrated mechanical aptitude with hands-on experience using hand tools, power tools, and assembly equipment. Valid forklift certification or experience operating forklifts safely within a warehouse or manufacturing setting. Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, assembly lines, and quality control procedures. Ability to work on your feet for extended periods and lift materials safely as needed. Basic warehouse experience including inventory handling, shipping/receiving procedures, and use of warehouse management systems is a plus. Excellent attention to detail with a proactive approach to safety practices. Effective communication skills and ability to work well within a team-oriented environment.
