Job Summary

: We are looking for a Manpower Scheduling Coordinator to assist the company in fulfilling hiring and staffing activities. The selected candidate will be tasked with assisting with the recruitment and onboarding of new employees, including coordination with safety training, end-to-end onboarding, communication with new hires and maintaining employee databases. The successful candidate should be highly organized and able to ensure the daily staffing requirements and objectives are met.


This is an hourly position reporting directly to the Staffing & Recruiting Manager. This position will be located in Mountain West facility in Salt Lake City, UT


Job Duties and Responsibilities

Recruitment:




Prepare and maintain worker databases, skill lists, and functionality of roles Send communication to candidates through the hiring process Coordinate with planners on scheduling hotel accommodation and travel arrangements Schedule and track physicals and pre-screening testing required for all candidates Work directly with department managers, safety, and Human Resources on a regular basis and proactively identify future hiring needs and scheduling of our current workforce Work directly with Recruiter and new hires to ensure a smooth onboarding completion Assess candidates' relevant knowledge, skills, experience, and aptitudes. Protects the interests of employees and the company in accordance with company Human Resources policies and governmental laws and regulations Interact with all company personnel in a pleasant, helpful and courteous manner Maintain the highest levels of professionalism and confidentiality at all times Respond to employee questions/concerns Additional responsibilities as assigned by management

Human Resources:




Assist with new hire orientation programs Assist in maintaining the Applicant Tracking System and training of hiring managers Respond to employee questions/concerns

Requirements:




1-3 years of recruiter experience or similar role required Knowledge of staffing trends and best practices. Proficient in computer software and programs (HRIS, ATS, Microsoft Office, etc.) Must have thorough understanding of current legislation and regulations regarding recruiting, hiring and HR practices High level of attention to detail Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment Excellent interpersonal skills, verbal and written communication skills, and strong analytical skills Proficient in the Microsoft Office suite of products, including Outlook, Excel and Word Experience in mining, manufacturing, maintenance service and/or construction industry is a plus Must be organized and self-directed, working with little or no supervision Ability to exercise discretion and independent judgment with respect to matters of significance * Comply with all policies and procedures in Employee Handbook
