Harmon Prep is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic
Mandarin Chinese Teacher
to join our team for the current school year. The ideal candidate is passionate about language instruction, knowledgeable about Chinese culture, and committed to creating an engaging and supportive learning environment for students.Responsibilities:
Teach Mandarin Chinese to students in accordance with curriculum standards and school goals Develop lesson plans that incorporate reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills Create a positive, structured classroom environment that supports student learning Use a variety of instructional strategies to accommodate different learning styles Incorporate cultural lessons, activities, and celebrations to enhance student understanding Assess student progress through assignments, quizzes, and formal assessments Communicate regularly with families regarding student growth and classroom updates Participate in school events, professional development sessions, and faculty meetings
Pay: $24.00 - $27.00 per hour
Expected hours: 15.0 per week
