Summary:

Solid is seeking a detail-oriented total rewards administrator and HR operations leader to further develop our benefits offerings, streamline total rewards processes, drive HR process, systems, and analytics optimization and leverage our HR systems to provide insights for growing and scaling our organization. This role will help advance our total rewards strategy, drive system performance, serve as a subject matter expert for all HR operation transactions, and be the primary point of contact for HR vendor relationships.

Key Duties & Accountabilities:

  • Plan, recommend and lead the development and implementation of employee benefit programs enabling an employee centric experience that reinforces the company culture and aligns with corporate goals
  • Establish and maintain effective relationships with all HR vendors and consultants; ensure that the administration of applicable plans are effective and efficient
  • Manage annual open enrollment for benefit plans, including communication regarding plan information to employees
  • Partner with the Head of Human Resources and other members of the HR team to support compensation analysis requests related to offers, executive compensation, market adjustments, and performance management
  • Oversee and manage renewal of relationship with compensation consultants, including Radford/Aon.
  • Oversee the HRIS components of performance management, on-boarding, and off-boarding processes and manage the related day-day operations of such processes
  • Advance the HR technology and people analytics strategy for the company including further development of current ADP solutions to support hire to retire employee life cycle
  • Lead critical HR projects as assigned within the HR team, establishing deadlines related to overall goals and ensuring the team is aware of key milestones
  • Oversee all immigration requests, transfers, and applications working directly with outside counsel.
  • Partner with Payroll Manager to oversee HR administration associated with all leave requests ensuring compliance with applicable laws and internal policies.
  • Stay up to date with trends in people analytics, HR best practices, and technology identifying areas of improvement and opportunities for change
  • Collaborate with colleagues within the broader HR/TA team, Finance, Legal, IT, Facilities and across the organization to support a positive and proactive employee centric culture
  • Work closely with HR Business Partners and leadership teams to provide analytics to support strategic decision making
  • Maintain compliance with federal, state and local employment and benefits laws and regulations
  • Performs other related duties and ad hoc projects as required by position

Knowledge: Education, Experience, & Skills:
  • Bachelor\'s Degree preferred with 5+ years of relevant HR Operations experience
  • Experience in a fast-growing, dynamic organization; biotechnology preferred
  • Experience with an integrated HRIS/Payroll/Benefit system (ADP Workforce Now experience is desirable)
  • Strong communicator and excellent influencer with ability to flex approach as needed to drive solutions
  • Proven customer service excellence to resolve complex questions and problems
  • Proven history of managing confidential information in a professional manner
  • Prior Experience working a public company and familiarity with SOX compliance is a plus
  • Ability to work at both the strategic and tactical level and comfortable shifting back and forth is required
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, strong interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Versatility, flexibility and a willingness to work with quick changing priorities
