Overview




BMG HR Manager


Summary


Provides oversight and manages all provider onboarding throughout the life cycle including acquisitions. Supports the human resources team with programs/policies and strategies to meet the business and service needs for a large medical group practice.



Responsibilities



Ensures physician needs are being met throughout their onboarding with Baptist. To include enrolling in Benefits and attending Orientation.






Participates as a member of the Leadership team with mergers/acquisitions to ensure all HR matters are reviewed and addressed to include salary/benefits conversions, planning and associated meetings with new team members, working closely and in coordination with BMG HR Director and appropriate Corporate HR team.
Assist Senior Manager /Director in monitoring compliance with HR policies to ensure fair and consistent terms and conditions of employment and adherence to all applicable state and federal standards/guidelines/laws.


Assesses HR operations, services and program delivery, identifies opportunities for cost reduction, performance improvement and enhanced efficiencies by regularly monitoring the accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of work and related HR work processes. Recommends improvement strategies as needed.



Performs related accountabilities/responsibilities as required or directed.




Requirements, Preferences and Experience

Education




Minimum: Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources


Preferred: Master's degree in Business, Human Resources, or related field or equivalent experience

Experience




Preferred: 7 years related experience, preferably in an Ambulatory or Clinic setting


Minimum: 5 years directly in a health care setting.

Special Skills




Minimum: Strong internal and external customer service focus. Knowledge of HR regulatory standards and employment laws to include but not limited to Title VII, ADA, FMLA, Workers' Compensation, FLSA. The ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously - orientated on results. Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills. Must be very detailed oriented. Success in driving effective employee relations, retention and employee engagement strategies. A strong focus on problem resolution and working in an environment which demands strong deliverables along with the ability to identify problems and drive appropriate outcomes. Must be willing to travel area.
