Manager, Talent Development

You\xe2\x80\x99ll be responsible for leading a development and learning center of excellence through partnerships and processes that are bold, visionary, and results-driven. You will have a strong drive and passion for impacting the business, be an agile problem solver, and have exceptional communication skills. Through your output, you\xe2\x80\x99ll enhance the development of our employee population to empower professional growth while aligning with the company\xe2\x80\x99s business objectives and goals.

You will play a key role in employee engagement, leading a culture of belonging, wellbeing, and connection. Our team embraces evolution, and in this role you will leverage learning and development to help the organization navigate complexity and change. Please note that this dynamic, influential, and highly collaborative role is an individual contributor role.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Corporate Academy (Learning & Development):
  • Drive the U.S. URW Academy strategy and full execution to implement dynamic learning solutions that are integral to the success of the organization (including developing and facilitating content, communication/marketing strategy, and assessing impact through key metrics)
  • Deliver and iterate key programs designed to support specific learning and development needs for targeted populations (i.e., Management Skills, Mentoring, Executive Presence workshops, etc.)
  • Be a strong, active partner in the \xe2\x80\x98Employee Development Tiger Team\xe2\x80\x99 (our Employee Development Committee which partners on Organization Development activities for the US business) to evaluate, develop, and execute impactful development opportunities for each department/function
  • U.S. URW Academy Platform (LMS) administration oversight, including system maintenance and reporting
  • Track budgets and expenditures for learning and development programs, projects, initiatives (partner with the SVP, People to set annual budget)
  • Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion:
  • Partner with People team leadership to set URW\xe2\x80\x99s U.S. DE&I strategy, in partnership with U.S. and Corporate HQ HR leadership, and as an inspirational change agent within the business
  • Lead URW\xe2\x80\x99s U.S. diversity & inclusion learning curriculum, including partnering with Talent Acquisition and People Business Partners on customized training/programming for specific departments/ functions
  • Partnership with Business Resource Groups (alignment with business strategy and goals, thought partnership, and coordination with Corporate HQ)
  • Employee Engagement and Wellness:
  • Contribute to the US employee engagement strategy; align learning and development goals with overall employee engagement (strong partnership with HR colleagues and with Senior Leadership)
  • Oversee U.S. employee wellness program, in partnership with URW\xe2\x80\x99s Total Rewards team
  • Ensure delivery of an impactful on-boarding experience, including new hire induction touchpoints, URW Fundamentals, check-ins and surveys, core learning and Day in the Field Program
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s Degree in Human Resources, Industrial or Organizational Psychology, or related field preferred
  • 5-7 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in organization development, training and development, or related area
  • Experience supporting a company-wide learning organization infrastructure
  • Instructional design experience implementing learning strategies with a focus on improving leadership, organizational learning across a global, matrixed company
  • Excellent written and verbal communications including ability to create clear, concise early career through executive level presentations and positioning documents
  • Proficient knowledge of instructional design, experience creating training using various authoring tools, experience implementing and/or managing LMS systems, tools, and resources
  • Experience working with a variety of external suppliers/vendors for training
Desired Qualifications:
  • Master\xe2\x80\x99s Degree with a focus on Organizational Development or related discipline
  • SPHR, SHRM-SCP, or CPLP Certification
  • Demonstrated success creating and implementing innovative and cutting-edge learning curriculum and trainings
  • Creative problem solver, naturally curious and strategic thinker
  • Can successfully deal with a fast-paced environment effecting change and influencing stakeholders with competing priorities

Annual Salary Range

$100,000 - $115,000 + Discretionary Annual Bonus
