The Manager, Software Engineering Role
We are seeking an experienced Software Development Manager to lead a talented team building best-in-class low-code/no-code predictive model training and runtime prediction capabilities within Qlik Predict, a core component of Qlik Cloud. Your team will play a key role in shaping predictive technology both as a standalone product and as part of integrated solutions across Qlik's portfolio.

Here's how you'll be making an impact:

• Lead, coach, and inspire your development team to continuously deliver high-quality cloud software.
• Remove obstacles, set clear priorities, and ensure alignment with business goals.
• Partner with Product Managers, Designers, and other stakeholders to refine priorities and shape the roadmap.
• Oversee delivery of features from design and development through deployment and operations in a SaaS environment.
• Ensure product quality by driving automated testing, addressing production issues, and managing technical debt.
• Invest in your team's growth by recognizing strengths, providing development opportunities, and fostering a culture of innovation.
• Continuously improve development practices, keeping pace with world-class software organizations.

We're looking for a teammate with:
Leadership & Delivery

• Proven experience managing software engineering teams and delivering successful SaaS solutions.
• Strong background in agile and DevOps practices, with the ability to drive continuous delivery.
• Demonstrated ability to build inclusive, collaborative, and high-performing teams.

Technical Expertise

• Solid understanding of cloud-native architectures and microservices.
• Experience with interactive web applications (JavaScript, Node.js, Go, or similar).
• Familiarity with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes) in Linux environments.
• Experience operating in a DevOps culture with automated pipelines and cloud infrastructure.

• Domain expertise in Business Intelligence, Data Management, or related fields, an asset.

• Familiarity with leading cloud providers and SaaS security best practices, an asset.

The anticipated base salary range for this role is $170,000 to $180,000 USD per year. Final compensation offered by Qlik will be based on factors such as the candidate's location, job-related skills, education, experience, and other business and organizational needs. Qlik offers a comprehensive benefits package, eligibility requirements for benefits will be controlled by applicable Qlik plan documents and policies.
