Responsibilities

Manager, Skilled Nursing Unit

This is a full-time, day position located at Corona Regional Medical Center in Corona, CA

Reporting to the Director of Nursing Rehabilitative Services, The Rehab Nurse Manager is responsible for all aspects of clinical supervision of nursing care on the Sub acute/SNF and Acute Rehabilitation units. Ensures compliance with all regulatory agency standards; i.e., OBRA, Title 22, JC AHO. Supports and promotes the philosophy, goals and objectives of the Subacute, SNF, and Acute Rehabilitation units. Represents the Director of Nursing in his/her absence.
Qualifications

ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS

Knowledge of OBRA (Medicare) and Title XXII guidelines.

MINIMUM ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE

2 years recent experience in a rehabilitation setting required.

Minimum of one year vent experience required.

Minimum of one year supervision/management experience preferred.

MINIMUM ESSENTIAL EDUCATION

BS in Nursing preferred.

REQUIRED LICENSURE / CERTIFICATIONS

Current California Registered Nurse license required.

Current BC LS (CPR) required
