The Securities Lending group within Treasury is responsible for managing Stock Loan, Short Sale, and the Securities Lending Fully Paid products. We interact daily with street level counterparties (prime brokers), Investor Services clients and Advisor Services staff to deliver world class service and drive strong financial performance on behalf of the firm, while ensuring that related regulatory compliance is properly managed.

What you are good at

As a Manager the candidate will craft and support advancement of the overall Securities Lending business agenda and develop strategies to:

• Support the TDA integration effort
• Expand and evolve the business and operating model to address changing industry and market trends
• Support the Product team\xe2\x80\x99s adoption of the Product Development Lifecycle (PDLC) framework
• Pursue market growth opportunities
• Improve internal business processes and operations to reduce risk
• Develop effective, informative feedback loops

Specific job responsibilities include: In Partnership with the Director of Strategy in Securities Lending, the candidate will:

• Lead initiatives driving the growth and evolution of our Fully Paid and Short Sale product offerings
• Interact with senior members of Schwab\'s leadership team and executive partners
• Initiate and deliver ad hoc analyses of key asset and revenue trends and metrics to drive tactical and strategic decisions
• Document business requirements, data definitions, controls and maintenance procedures
• Support daily/monthly operations and ad-hoc troubleshooting and reporting of issues
• Provide reporting and analytical strategy and solutions for large data sets from disparate systems
• Provide guidance and coaching for junior staff(s) across the Strategy team.

In addition to the salary range, this role is also eligible for bonus or incentive opportunities.
