JOB SUMMARY
Manage and supervise the integration of the Central Supply and Storeroom areas including both teams to create a cohesive Logistics and Distribution department with a focus on building, motivating, and evaluating diverse teams and projects.. The manager will oversee all supply functions, logistics and the distribution of medical supplies. Responsible for department supervision and training of personnel. Will be responsible for providing positive leadership and a working environment that promotes teamwork and customer satisfaction. The manager will work with Purchasing department collaboratively to ensure proper inventory levels, identify areas for standardization.
Reports to the Director of Materials Management.
Plans, organizes, and manages all storeroom, central supply and delivery operations, including planning and oversight of the areas of trucking/courier, and material handling. Identifies and resolves opportunities and integrates efforts between all parties to provide seamless flow of product throughout the entire supply chain, ensuring the right product at the right place at the right time. Actively promotes an environment and culture focused on customer service, safety, analytics, technology and cooperation by working with functional areas across the organization to ensure appropriate communication, involvement, and decision-making. Ensures that the processes, systems and tools, which enable the staff to meet the needs of both internal and external customers, are available and used. To lead by example in all areas of Central Supply/Materials Management. To foster and support our mission through respectful words and deeds. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education: High School graduate.
Experience: Must have five (5) years of materials management experience, including experience in a lead role.
Licensure/Certification/Registration: Certified Materials Resource Professional (CMRP) within eighteen (18) months of hire into position.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Education: Associates Degree or higher, or seven (7) + years' experience.
Experience: Previous coordinator, supervisory, or management experience.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Must have proficiency in computer software applications. Must have excellent communication skills and the ability to demonstrate leadership skills in a demanding environment. Must have knowledge of materials procurement and inventory systems. Ability to operatively perform all components of the services provide by department as necessary.
READING: Intermediate: Ability to read and interpret documents such as operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
WRITING: Intermediate: Ability to write routine reports, correspondence, or procedures.
SPEAKING: Intermediate: Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one, small group situations or before groups of customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Basic Skills: Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.
REASONING ABILITY: Intermediate Skills: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
