Job Summary and Qualifications
The Manager of Product Management will lead and direct the ITG team that is responsible for supporting the Hospital Based Medicine (HBM) service line of Clinical Services Group. This includes Anesthesia, Emergency Medicine, Hospital Medicine, and Intensivist. Manager is responsible for managing relationships and requirements for all vendor delivered and in-house developed and implemented solutions serving the HBM service line. This manager will serve as a liaison between various corporate ITG stakeholders and business stakeholders to ensure adoption of existing enterprise solutions and, when necessary, bring on new enterprise scalable solutions.
Major Responsibilities:
Supervising and managing analysts responsible for implementing and supporting the HBM service line applications
Responsible for managing the development, testing and deploying HBM solutions across the enterprise
Executive presentation of projects and status to customers and leadership
Effectively communicate complex problems and ideas to a diverse population
Responsible for vendor management
Champion process improvements
Focus on staff development
Portfolio and resource management, planning and time tracking
Manage the department budget
Support the organizational agenda
Product Strategy
Develops strategy, plans and leads initiatives that supports the HBM service line and aligns with the enterprise goals for information, data management and informatics
Provides leadership and guidance to HBM executives and field operations teams regarding system operational goas and compliance excellence
Develops business cases and defines ROIs to measure product success, outcomes and financial performance
Designs overall data strategy and product roadmaps with Hospital Based Medicine leadership
Maintains strategic and tactical relationships and actively collaborates with other corporate departments and key stakeholders (Information Protection, Internal Audit, Contracting, Reimbursement, Legal, etc.) to drive goals
Identifies and maintains strategic alliances outside the organization to create business opportunities and executive business strategies
Product Delivery
Oversees the build, configuration, deployment and implementation of key HBM solutions: QGenda, Medaxion, NeoData, etc.
Collaborates with and across Hospital Based Medicine teams on the selection and execution of pilot and exploratory systems that support the HBM service line
Navigates and leads new system integration and system transitions, including oversight of data migration efforts
Designs and develops data modules, APIs and interfaces for exchange of healthcare data that meets HCA's security and data exchange standards.
Define system architecture and technical solutions that ensure scalability and compliance with healthcare regulations and HCA standards
Participate in new project selection and implementation with includes:
Lead proposals to select new technologies, ensuring that the technologies meet company standards and are supportable after go-live
Design and oversee testing to confirm systems are scalable enterprise wide
Develop operational procedures and standards necessary to support the system on a regular basis
Present to senior management project-related information
Product Operations
Manages day-to-day operations of products in the HBM portfolio, including incident management, user support and regulatory compliance
Serve as a key change agent and engage in various levels of ITG change management processes and advisory boards
Leads customer experience and steering committees to gather user feedback, understand pain points and work with vendors to develop solutions
Support and enhance existing software products which includes:
Constantly looking for opportunities to reduce ongoing costs and improve operational efficiencies
Assist in measuring, monitoring and optimizing HBM system usage and compliance
Responding to break/fix issues associated with existing systems
Performs other duties as assigned

Education & Experience:
Bachelor's degree required
3+ years of experience in a leadership role preferred
7+ years of experience in a related position required
