Job Description

Camco Chemical is seeking a proactive and experienced EH&S Manager to lead and manage all aspects of environmental, health, and safety compliance across our manufacturing operations. This role is critical to ensuring a safe workplace, maintaining regulatory compliance, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement in safety and sustainability.

Key Responsibilities:

Regulatory Compliance:

Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local EH&S regulations (OSHA, EPA, DOT, etc.). Maintain all required permits, records, and reporting.

Safety Program Management:

Develop, implement, and maintain safety programs, policies, and procedures. Conduct regular audits, inspections, and risk assessments.

Training & Development:

Lead EH&S training initiatives for employees and contractors. Ensure proper onboarding and ongoing education on safety protocols.

Incident Management:

Investigate accidents, near misses, and environmental incidents. Lead root cause analysis and corrective action implementation.

Environmental Stewardship:

Oversee hazardous waste management, air and water quality compliance, and sustainability initiatives.

Emergency Preparedness:

Maintain and test emergency response plans. Coordinate drills and ensure readiness for chemical spills, fires, and other emergencies.

Reporting & Documentation:

Prepare and submit required EH&S reports. Maintain accurate records of inspections, training, and incidents.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

Work closely with operations, HR, and leadership to promote a safety-first culture and integrate EH&S into business processes.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Safety, Industrial Hygiene, or related field. 5+ years of EH&S experience in a chemical manufacturing or industrial setting. Strong knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and DOT regulations. Experience with hazardous materials handling and emergency response. * Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
