Manager, Marketing and Influencer Analytics

Summary of Position
The Manager, Marketing & Influencer Analytics will play a key role in providing analysis in support of Influencer, Brand Partnerships, PR, and other marketing activities to bring data-informed strategic decisions to the marketing organization. A successful manager in this role will be able to analyze performance metrics (impressions, engagement, organic reach, CTR, etc.) of active campaigns and make recommendations for further investment or corrective actions based on their assessment. The ideal candidate will be able to partner cross-functionally to align recommendations with business objectives for the product line or category and understand the sales implications. They will also be able to weave together data from a variety of sources to synthesize complex analytics into actionable direction and potential ROI. This position is part of a dynamic team that works in a fast-paced environment, where keen attention to detail, proactive problem-solving, and an ability to work cross-functionally are crucial to success.

Location: Needham, MA (Hybrid)

Responsibilities

  • Lead measurement strategy and analysis for influencer, brand partnerships, PR campaigns, and other earned & owned activities to prove out the success of these activities.
  • Challenge current way of thinking for Influencer campaign performance and evolve cross-functional understanding of KPIs that determine a successful campaign.
  • Provide mid-campaign performance analysis and insights.
  • Collaborate with the Paid Media, Sales Analytics, Category Management, and the Content & Community teams on final campaign reporting to deliver robust analysis and recommendations for completed campaigns.
  • Leverage Google search trends and organic reach and mentions through Sprinklr to round-out campaign analysis.
  • Make recommendations for spending optimization and ROI improvements. Identify trends and opportunities for new sources of growth.
  • Lead bi-annual data collection process for Marketing Mix Model (MMM) with a 3rd party vendor and help inform the learning agenda for the analysis.
  • Support development of an \'Influencer Scorecard\' to inform optimal incentive programs and bonus structures for influencers to meet goal metrics. Confidence in the overall performance KPIs will be crucial to ensuring that we incentivize behavior that is beneficial to SharkNinja.
  • Analyze cost / benefit of providing influencers with exclusive discount codes or affiliate commissions in order to drive sales.
  • Concisely communicate insights, trends, and action plans to diverse audiences across leadership, site performance, media strategy, and brand marketing teams.
  • Provide ad hoc analytical support to help the team prioritize opportunities based on outcome/resource assessment, review the results of test & learn activities, and/or support other ad hoc projects as necessary.
Education and Experience
  • Bachelor\'s degree or equivalent experience
  • 6+ years of relevant work experience in analytics related to Influencer and Marketing activities. Related experience in online marketing, media analytics, and Direct to Consumer sales a plus.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel and Google Analytics required
  • Experience with Marketing Mix Model analysis a plus
  • Experience working with Sprinklr or other social listening tool a plus
  • Highly self-motivated with the ability to influence decisions based on data and insights
  • Ability to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced work environment
  • Ability to present and calibrate on critical challenges on the executive level
  • Ability to develop an objective point-of-view, be seen as strategic thought leader on team, and build constructive relationship with internal teams and external agency partners.
  • Willingness to consistently challenge the way reporting and analysis has been done in the past to uncover new and improved ways of operating
