Job Description


Basic Function

HF Sinclair is seeking a Manager, HRIS in Dallas, TX who will will be responsible for implementing and maintaining the HRIS software. The focus of this role will be coordination with HR groups through timely project management, designing, testing, and communicating. This position will need to work effectively with peers to set technology priorities and conduct long-term planning and solutions.

Job Duties

  • Oversees the strategic design, delivery, and administration of our HRIS system of record as well as the strategy, delivery, and administration of the entire SSR (Server-Side Rendering) HRIS stack.
  • Manages all HR systems-related projects and processes, and process improvements, including any associated change management, to facilitate any new implementation, updates, or changes that impact our stakeholders.
  • Proactively performs system maintenance, including review, testing, and implementation of system upgrades and fixes. Partners with functional and technical staff to support HRIS workflows, configuration design, upgrades, and fixes.
  • Provides production support including researching, troubleshooting, and resolving HRIS problems; performs scheduled activities; recommends solutions or alternative methods to meet business requirements.
  • Leads HRIS implementation efforts in partnership with the IT team and vendors.
  • Leads a team of high-performing analysts and consultants.
  • Develop user procedures, guidelines, and documentation for HRIS and train system end-users.
  • Performs data entry/uploads and maintains data integrity in systems by establishing regular audit and quality check processes.
  • Supports HR Business Partner and drives the data for all HR planning cycles.
  • Ensures all HRIS-related administrative forms, reports, processes, and audits are completed accurately, timely, and in compliance with relevant local, state, federal, and provincial regulations for Benefits, Payroll, HR Recordkeeping and audits, and Compliance.
  • LMS and ATS systems and continually recommend process improvements for the business.
  • Responsible for process design and ongoing process improvement, including evaluating existing systems and procedures, providing recommendations for changes and improvements, and implementing changes.
  • Consults to determining user needs, reporting requirements, and areas where procedures need streamlining in a high-growth environment.
  • Manages HRIS-related vendor relationships and renewals.
  • Leads due diligence for the HRIS systems portion of M&A and global expansion.
  • Develop HR systems standards, tools, and systems for organizing, planning, and executing HR M&A activities.
Special assignments or tasks assigned to the employee by their manager, as determined from time to time in their sole and complete discretion

Experience

A minimum of eight years of related experience in Human Resource Information Systems is required. Experience in SAP ERP HCM is required.

Education Level

A minimum of a Bachelor\'s degree in a business or human resource-related field is required.

Preferred Education

SAP ERP HCM training preferred.

Required Skills

Ability to lead and direct the work of other associates. Working knowledge of compensation, HRIS, and other functions of HR. Advanced skill level in MS Excel and Word. Proficient with presentation and email applications; knowledge of applicable laws, pronouncements and regulations pertaining to human resource operations; strong planning, interpersonal, organizational, leadership, analytical, the ability to effectively communicate with others, both verbal and written communication skills; tact and maturity. May require ability to implement and develop programs and present and speak publicly. Ability to handle confidential information including Protected Health Information (PHI) and all compliance issues in relation to relevant HIPAA regulations. Advanced reading and writing skills with the ability to perform complex mathematical calculations.

Supervisory/Managerial Responsibility

Responsible for the supervision of up to four employees.

Work Conditions

Office based with travel up to 25% required by land or air. Subject to varying road and weather conditions.
