What you'll do

You will work with leadership on operational and strategic planning, including fostering innovation, planningprojects, and organizing and negotiating the allocation of resources. You will Benchmark, analyze, report on, and make recommendations for the improvement of Engineeringpractices and procedures within the organization. You will partner with senior Engineering leadership to create and implement day to day technology solutionsto business problems. You will assist with developing business case justifications, cost/benefit analysis and budget for Engineeringspending and initiatives. You will manage vendor contracts to ensure compliance. You will stay abreast of latest developments, techniques, and changes in the laws pertaining to the areas ofresponsibility and ensure organizational compliance. You will work closely with business unit leaders to improve the reliability and effectiveness of Engineeringpractices throughout the company. You will manage, evaluate, and develop staff to ensure the organization's Engineering activities areconducted accurately, ethically, consistently and according to relevant regulations, laws, and standards.

What you'll need

You will need 8 or more years of progressive experience in Engineering You will need a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field You will need 1 or more years of personnel and departmental leadership experience You will need a strong understanding of the company You will need advanced interpersonal skills; be an expert within the field of Engineering
