Regular Full-Time (Req# 2025-295) Position is exempt. Normal workings hours are Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm, with 24-hour on-call status 7-days a week. Periodically extended hours or a modified schedule may be required. Must be flexible on work hours.

Description of Position

The Manager, Education Services is responsible for planning, directing, organizing, and coordinating system-wide educational services and programs. This position is also responsible for directing the operations and staff of the Education Services Department, which includes vocational (including nursing education), supervisory, and management education; total quality management (TQM) training; and library services.

Qualifications and Requirements

Baccalaureate degree in education or healthcare field from a four-year college or university required with current Registered Nurse licensure in the State of Hawaii required. Masters degree in education, nursing, or healthcare field preferred. Minimum of three (3) years teaching/training experience, preferably in a health care institution. Minimum two (2) years experience in directing and supervising an educational program preferred. Minimum of two (2) years supervisory experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide the necessary knowledge, skills, and abilities to meet the minimum qualifications to perform the essential functions of this position. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required, with retraining once every two years.

Salary Range

$140,000 -- $155,000
