Position Summary:

Manager, Commercial Analytics & Insights develops and delivers business insights for the Neuroimmunology BU, with a strong focus on translating and enhancing the utilization of data and analytics. This position will be instrumental in the development of analytical insights that inform the strategic focus of the sales and marketing organizations leveraging internal and external data sources.

Responsibilities:

  • Build analytics solutions that answer the most critical questions to help inform the strategy of the Neuroimmunology BU and drive operational focus and efficiency
  • Serve as the key reporting analytics business partner to management and sales and marketing leadership, communicating key insights and performing rigorous analyses to enable data driven decisions
  • Continuous improvement of sales force and internal reporting to ensure optimal insights can be identified from data translated into information
  • Analyze marketing initiatives and their effectiveness at a national and subnational level
  • Develop ad hoc analytical frameworks to support strategic and operational decision making at all levels of the business
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and leverage data from diverse sources and use insights to better influence overall success; facilitate collective understanding of available data, analyses, and brand performance
  • Develop, extend, and improve analytics processes to ensure consistent delivery of actionable data and insights to stakeholders and decision makers
  • Expand data quality processes, maintaining a streamlined approach to monitor, quality check and alert
  • Work with Analytics and Data Science leadership to acquire and utilize new data sources
  • Support ad hoc projects and tasks as needed
Qualifications and Skills Required:
  • BA/BS required
  • 5+ years of experience in finance, data analysis, strategy consulting or other quantitative fields
  • Demonstrated success developing and presenting solutions to complex business situations, supported by sound and thorough analytics
  • Highly proficient analytical and software skills aimed at data analysis
  • Demonstrated proficiency in data management and data platforms (such as Microsoft SQL Server), statistical modeling packages (such as Python, SAS, and/or, R) and office productivity software (Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel)
  • Experience with Business Intelligence tools (PowerBI/Tableau) preferred but not required
  • Proficient in the use and interpretation of pharmaceutical data including Rx, physician and claims level data sets
  • Strong ability to effectively analyze/interpret market research data to identify risks to the company
  • High degree of independence and exceptional work ethic
