Responsibilities
Lead and supervise all aspects of restaurant operations, including food preparation, service delivery, and staff management.
Oversee inventory control processes to ensure optimal stock levels while minimizing waste.
Manage POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for efficient order processing and cash handling.
Ensure compliance with food safety standards and proper food handling procedures across all departments.
Train, develop, and motivate staff through ongoing coaching, performance evaluations, and training initiatives.
Coordinate shift management to ensure smooth transitions between team members while maintaining high service standards.
Monitor food production quality to uphold consistency and customer satisfaction in casual dining, fine dining, catering, or banquet settings.
Implement budgeting strategies and manage costs effectively to meet financial goals.
Conduct interviews for hiring new team members and participate in staff onboarding processes.
Foster a positive team environment through leadership in hospitality management, supervising experience, and staff development.
Address customer concerns promptly to ensure an exceptional dining experience.
Collaborate with kitchen management to optimize food presentation, culinary standards, and menu offerings.
Oversee restaurant cleanliness, sanitation practices, and adherence to health regulations.
Support special events such as banquets or catering functions by coordinating logistics and staffing needs.
Qualifications
Proven management experience within the food service industry, including supervising teams in quick service & fast food or casual dining environments.
Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and kitchen operations.
Experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; proficiency in cash handling is essential.
Demonstrated ability in inventory control, food safety protocols, and food management practices.
Background in hospitality management with a focus on customer service excellence.
Skilled in staff training & development with previous experience in interviewing and onboarding new employees.
Ability to manage shift schedules efficiently while maintaining high standards of service quality.
Familiarity with budgeting processes and cost control strategies within a restaurant setting.
Excellent leadership qualities with a focus on team management, supervision experience, and fostering a positive work environment.
Prior experience working in fine dining or hotel environments is advantageous; catering or banquet experience is a plus.
