The Opportunity:

In this role, you will grow our Travel vertical by driving impact through our strategic partnerships. You will need to develop a deep understanding of the market in order to determine which partnerships will be critical to our success. This function will include sourcing new partnerships, negotiating deals, developing pipeline and maintaining ongoing relationships. Our Travel Vertical is growing rapidly and having the right person to grow our partnership program is a critical part of the vertical.

The Travel vertical is made up of customer focused team players who are looking to continue to grow and scale our Travel business. To be successful in this role, you will leverage your knowledge of Flywire\xe2\x80\x99s services and solutions, along with a deep understanding of our customer\xe2\x80\x99s business, so that you can build a long term successful program.

Key responsibilities:

Business Development

  • Identify the right channel and technical partners needed to scale our Travel business
  • Meet with and evaluate companies for potential partnerships; work with Corporate Development where appropriate to advise internally on decision to buy, build or partner
  • Lead product efforts related to building a robust ecosystem of partners
Partner Management
  • Structure, negotiate and close strategic partnership agreements
  • Lead enablement and deal support for existing partners and programs
  • Lead regular quarterly business reviews and executive touchpoints
  • Report on pipeline and key wins for related product offerings
Project Management
  • Coordinate and organize cross-functional teams for partnership-related deliverables
  • Legal: contract amendments and renewals
  • Finance: deal support and contract renewals
  • Product Management and Engineering: product definition and roadmaps
  • Product Marketing and PR: marketing communications, enablement, partner PR
Qualifications

Here\xe2\x80\x99s What We\xe2\x80\x99re Looking For:
  • 6+ years of combined experience in product management, business development, or partnership programs
  • 4+ years of prior experience in the travel or payments space with a full understanding of the travel landscape and payment ecosystem and has the ability to identify new opportunities.
  • Excellent analytical and technical expertise to build strategies and to articulate inter-dependencies
  • Outstanding C-level communication and interpersonal skills to engage in the necessary internal and external conversations needed to be successful
  • Passion and commitment for partner success and a tested ability to maintain a high level of productivity while managing competing priorities
  • Independent self-starter that can set their own direction when needed
