Job SummaryUnder general direction, is responsible for performing administrative professional work coordinating projects and activities between various divisions, departments, public agencies, and private sector representatives. Working conditions are primarily in an office environment. May exercise supervision over assigned staff. This position is funded by sales tax that has been approved by the citizens of San Antonio for a limited time period. This position is an "unclassified" position and has no disciplinary appeal rights to the Municipal Civil Service Commission. This position is likewise subject to at-will employment status and can be terminated at any time for any reason.Work Location

• Monitors and evaluates assigned programs and projects, sets deadlines, analyzes issues, and provides recommendations.
• Support management and reporting of data sets.
• Support data analysis and the development of internal and external reports.
• Implements, monitors, and evaluates new programs with internal and external stakeholders.
• Provides training to internal and external stakeholders to learn and implement new software.
• May assist in the preparation and monitoring of the annual budget.
• Prepares written reports and presentations on project progress and results with recommendations for enhancements.
• Works to ensure coordination between divisions within the department and external partners.
• Organizes and prepares written summaries of project reports and action plans in a timely manner.
• Performs related duties and fulfills responsibilities as required.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university with preferable coursework in Business, Public Administration, or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bilingual in English and Spanish.
• Ability to pass DFPS (Texas Department of Family Protective Services) background check.
• Proficient in using Microsoft Office products in a professional setting.

Applicant Information:

• Unless otherwise stated, applicants are permitted to substitute two years of related full-time experience for one year of higher education or one year of related higher education for two years of experience in order to meet the minimum requirements of the job. One year of full-time experience is defined as 30 or more hours worked per week for 12 months. One year of higher education is defined as 30 credit hours completed at an accredited college or university.
