Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Make Ready Technician to join our maintenance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and maintaining rental homes to ensure optimal living & safety. This role requires a strong background in mechanical, electrical, and facilities maintenance, with the ability to diagnois and repair when needed. The Make Ready Technician will play a vital role in , ensuring client satisfaction, and maintaining high standards of quality and safety.

This position will cover Kansas City Metro area

Responsibilities

Perform routine maintenance on unoccupied rental homes getting them ready to rent. Complete Occupied work orders. Conduct residential painting, and other maintenance tasks as needed. Supervise or assist with projects involving mechanical systems, electrical components, or upgrades. Lead or support team efforts in maintaining a safe work environment through adherence to safety protocols. Provide excellent customer service by addressing client needs related to Rental houses. Assist with supervising or training junior technicians or apprentices when required.

Requirements

Proven experience with electrical systems, mechanical repairs, and Residental home maintenance. Skills in drywall repairs, residential painting, light plumbing, light electrical, light HVAC and general maintenance are highly desirable. Ability to interpret technical drawings and appliance Manual. Supervising experience or leadership skills are preferred. Excellent communication skills in English for effective teamwork and documentation purposes. Ability to work independently or as part of a team with minimal supervision. This position offers an opportunity to contribute significantly to operational efficiency while developing technical expertise across multiple disciplines within a dynamic environment.
Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 36.0 - 40.0 per week
