Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Person to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and be proficient in various maintenance tasks, ensuring that all systems and equipment are functioning optimally. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Responsibilities

Perform routine maintenance and repairs on residential properties, including plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems. Supervise maintenance staff and coordinate daily tasks to ensure efficient operations. Read and interpret schematics to troubleshoot and repair equipment effectively. Utilize tools such as an ohmmeter for electrical diagnostics and repairs. Conduct residential painting tasks as needed to maintain property aesthetics. Maintain records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections. Operate and maintain logic controllers for automated systems. Weld components as necessary for repairs or modifications.

Qualifications

Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in general maintenance practices. Proficiency in supervising teams and managing maintenance schedules. Ability to read schematics and technical drawings effectively. Familiarity with using an ohmmeter for electrical troubleshooting. Experience in residential painting is preferred but not required. Knowledge of logic controllers is a plus. Excellent problem-solving skills with a logical approach to repairs. Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
