We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Person to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical background and demonstrate proficiency in various maintenance tasks, ensuring the functionality and safety of our facilities. This role requires a proactive individual who can troubleshoot issues, perform repairs, and maintain equipment while providing excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

- Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of facilities to ensure optimal operation.
- Perform repairs on electrical systems, plumbing, and HVAC units as needed.
- Utilize mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and resolve equipment malfunctions.
- Fabricate and weld components for repairs or improvements as necessary.
- Interpret schematics to assist in the installation or repair of systems.
- Lead small teams on maintenance projects, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently.
- Provide exceptional customer service while interacting with residents or clients during maintenance activities.
- Manage residential painting projects to maintain aesthetic standards of the facilities.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and inventory of supplies.

Requirements

- Proven experience in facilities maintenance with a strong mechanical aptitude.
- Knowledge of electrical systems and logic controllers is highly desirable.
- Ability to read and understand schematics for various systems.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to guide and motivate team members.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a logical approach to troubleshooting issues.
- Customer service-oriented mindset with effective communication skills.
- Experience in residential painting is a plus.
- Ability to fabricate and weld components as required for repairs.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $14.00 - $17.00 per hour
