Responsibilities
Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on building systems, machinery, and equipment to ensure optimal operation.
Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems using schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.
Operate tools such as welders, ohmmeters, and programmable logic controllers (PLCs) to diagnose issues and implement solutions efficiently.
Conduct residential painting projects and other general facilities maintenance tasks to uphold safety standards and aesthetic quality.
Maintain accurate records of work performed using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to track repairs, inspections, and parts inventory.
Supervise or assist with projects involving welding or electrical work, ensuring compliance with safety protocols and technical specifications.
Collaborate with team members to coordinate maintenance schedules, prioritize urgent repairs, and support manufacturing or residential environments.
Skills
Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in facilities maintenance or manufacturing environments.
Proficiency in reading schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals for troubleshooting electrical and mechanical systems.
Hands-on experience with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), welding techniques, and electrical troubleshooting tools such as ohmmeters.
Knowledge of residential painting techniques combined with general facilities upkeep skills.
Ability to supervise or lead maintenance projects while demonstrating leadership qualities.
Excellent customer service skills to communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders at all levels.
Familiarity with CMMS software for work order management and record keeping.
Basic proficiency in English for clear communication; additional language skills are a plus.
