Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Worker to join our team, responsible for ensuring the proper operation and upkeep of our facilities and equipment. This role involves performing a variety of maintenance tasks across residential, manufacturing, and facility environments, requiring a strong technical background and excellent problem-solving skills. The ideal candidate will have experience with electrical systems, mechanical repairs, welding, and facilities maintenance, with the ability to interpret schematics and operate CMMS software. Leadership and customer service skills are a plus for supervising tasks and interacting with clients or team members.

Duties

Perform routine and preventive maintenance on machinery, electrical systems, plumbing, HVAC, and structural components. Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic issues using schematics, ohmmeters, and other diagnostic tools. Conduct welding repairs and perform residential painting as needed for facility upkeep. Operate programmable logic controllers (PLCs) to monitor and adjust manufacturing equipment. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities using CMMS software. Supervise or assist in projects involving facilities maintenance or manufacturing equipment repairs. Ensure safety protocols are followed during all maintenance activities; identify potential hazards. Assist in supervising junior staff or contractors when required. Provide excellent customer service when interacting with internal teams or external clients regarding maintenance needs.

Skills

Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, schematics interpretation, and electrical troubleshooting. Experience with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and CMMS systems. Proficiency in welding techniques and residential painting. Ability to read schematics and technical manuals accurately. Familiarity with facilities maintenance across various environments including manufacturing plants and residential settings. Mechanical knowledge combined with hands-on experience in troubleshooting complex systems. Leadership skills with previous supervising experience preferred. Excellent communication skills in English for clear documentation and team coordination. Ability to operate diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters effectively. Customer service orientation with a proactive approach to problem resolution. Pay: $15.50 - $16.50 per hour

Expected hours: 32.0 - 40.0 per week
