Position: Maintenance Worker Level 2

School: Maintenance Department

Work Hours:

217 days per year 8.5 hours/day

Salary/Benefits:

Minimum $16.28/hour plus insurance, sick leave, and retirement

Qualifications: Education/Certification:

High school diploma or GED Valid Texas driver's license

Special Knowledge and Skills:

Knowledge of electrical circuits, wiring and operating principles of motors Knowledge of current electrical codes and ordinances Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and written reference material Ability to follow verbal and written instructions Knowledge of basic construction and routine maintenance and repair procedures Ability to communicate effectively (verbally) Ability to operate hand and power tools Ability to work independently Ability to operate riding or power mower, power tools, and hand tools
