Job Purpose
: As a Maintenance Technician and Driver, you will perform a variety of work in the general maintenance and repair of Assisted Living Community.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Drive residents to and from appointments and errands
Completes daily work orders, written and verbal, as assigned by the Maintenance Director in a timely manner.
Maintains and operates all equipment in a safe manner.
Assists Director of Maintenance with department's Preventative Maintenance Program.
Responds to minor requests by staff in a timely manner.
Assists with maintaining the exterior and interior appearance of the building, i.e. snow removal, cleaning heating vents, etc.
Maintains furnishings as directed by Maintenance Director.
Accepts on call duties.
Applies "5 Star" customer service approach in all aspects of job.
Committed to working with residents and families to develop and implement strategies that promote person-centered care.
Performs additional duties as assigned.
Position Requirements:
An active driver's license is Required
High School Diploma or Equivalent Required.
Experience in building maintenance Required.
Strong ability to set priorities and complete multiple tasks in a timely manner.
Compensation: Starting at $18.00/hr.
