Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of maintenance tasks to ensure the functionality and safety of our facilities. This role requires a strong understanding of electrical systems, facilities maintenance, and the ability to read schematics. The Maintenance Technician will also have opportunities to demonstrate leadership skills while supervising maintenance projects.

Responsibilities

Conduct routine inspections of buildings and equipment to identify maintenance needs. Perform electrical repairs and installations, ensuring compliance with safety standards. Utilize tools such as an Ohmmeter for troubleshooting electrical issues. Execute facilities maintenance tasks including plumbing, HVAC, and general repairs. Supervise and coordinate maintenance projects, providing guidance to junior staff as needed. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs performed. Assist in residential painting and other aesthetic improvements as required. Collaborate with team members to develop preventive maintenance schedules.

Requirements

Proficiency in English, both written and verbal, for effective communication. Experience in welding is a plus but not mandatory. Strong knowledge of electrical systems and ability to read schematics. Previous experience in facilities maintenance is preferred. Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to supervise others effectively. Familiarity with residential painting techniques is advantageous. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail are essential for success in this role.

Pay: $27.00 - $45.00 per hour
