WTI, an accredited institution and the leader in technical "hands-on" training, is seeking a highly motivated Maintenance Technician. We are seeking reliable and skilled individual that will be responsible for the overall upkeep and repair of the school campus facilities. This includes performing routine maintenance tasks, responding to work orders, and ensuring the physical environment is clean, safe, and functional for all students, staff, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform general maintenance duties including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, painting, and carpentry. Conduct regular inspections of the facility to identify and address maintenance needs. Maintain cleanliness and safety of common areas including hallways, restrooms, classrooms, and exterior grounds. Respond promptly to maintenance requests and resolve issues in a timely and efficient manner. Set up and take down furniture and equipment for school events and meetings. Monitor and maintain inventory of maintenance supplies and tools. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and procedures. Assist with snow removal, lawn care, and other seasonal campus upkeep tasks. Report major repairs or safety concerns to the Campus Director.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED required. Proven experience in building maintenance, facility repair, or related field. Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and general repair skills. The ability to operate hand and power tools safely. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Physical stamina and ability to lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, and perform manual labor.

Preferred Qualifications:

Vocational or technical training in building maintenance or trades. Certification or license in HVAC, plumbing, or electrical work is a plus. Prior experience working in a school or educational environment.

Work Schedule: Monday - Thursday: 7am to 4:30p

Friday : 7am to 11am
