Overview

The Maintenance Technician I is responsible for performing preventative maintenance and basic repairs on production and packaging equipment. This role ensures that machinery such as mixers, blenders, conveyors, and packaging systems operate efficiently to support continuous production.

Key Responsibilities

Perform routine preventative maintenance (PM) on production and packaging equipment. Assist in troubleshooting mechanical issues and supporting breakdown repairs. Conduct minor repairs and adjustments to keep equipment in safe and efficient working condition. Monitor equipment performance and report potential issues to maintenance leadership. Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work environment. Support continuous improvement and reliability initiatives.

Qualifications

1+ year of maintenance experience

in an industrial, production, or automotive setting. Basic mechanical aptitude with hands-on troubleshooting skills. Familiarity with basic tools and maintenance procedures. Ability to read and follow work instructions and safety procedures. Experience working on industrial machinery (preferred: food or packaging equipment).
