We are seeking a Property Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintenance and repair of (70) apartments within the housing authority which covers (3) separate locations.
Work includes monitoring work orders, trash pickup, office cleaning, cleanup of the property, landscaping, light plumbing, light electrical, apartment turnovers, drywall repair, light carpentry, snow removal, assisting with inspections/3rd party vendors and various other tasks.
Open to speaking with all levels of skilled workers. Open to contract workers or full time. Can start part time and work into a full time position. Looking for a responsible worker who will show up daily on time.
Job is in person only. Must speak English and be able to read, write, and use a cell phone.
Must have transportation and be able to provide after hours emergency call back when needed for emergency repairs as well as snow clearing of the property during storms.
Must be willing to work with all types of people and personalities within the low- income environment.
