This position works in the Maintenance Department at our Tecumseh, KS production facility.

Duties Include:

Perform highly diversified duties to install and maintain production machines and the plant facility's equipment. Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and performs scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service. Perform mechanic skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, troubleshooting and repair of production machines. Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service. Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and make adjustments. Perform regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment and plant facilities. Use a variety of hand and power tools, hoists, electric meters and material handling equipment in performing duties. Connects power supply wires to machines and equipment, and connects cables and wires between machines and equipment, following manuals, schematic diagrams, and blueprints, using hand tools and test equipment. Detects malfunctioning apparatus, such as transformers, motors, and lighting fixtures, using test equipment, and replaces damaged or broken wires and cables, using hand tools. Replaces faulty electrical components of machine, such as relays, switches, and motors, and positions sensing devices, using hand tools. Replaces electric motor bearings and rewires motors. Detect faulty operations, defective material and report those and any unusual situations to proper supervision. Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas.

Applicants should possess the following qualifications:

High school diploma/GED and completion of a craft apprenticeship, or an equivalent number of years of education and production maintenance experience.


2+ years of manufacturing experience; strong hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, machinist, and industrial skills with some PLC experience and HVAC.

These are biodegradable and compostable products to help reduce plastic pollution around the world!
