Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical background and be proficient in various maintenance tasks, ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities. This role requires a commitment to customer service and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Duties

Perform routine maintenance and repairs on residential properties, including plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems. Conduct inspections to identify issues and determine necessary repairs. Fabricate parts as needed to ensure efficient operation of equipment. Supervise and coordinate maintenance activities, ensuring compliance with safety standards. Utilize tools such as an ohmmeter for electrical troubleshooting and diagnostics. Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to maintenance requests and communicating effectively with residents. Assist in residential painting projects as required. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs performed.

Qualifications

Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in maintenance tasks. Proficient in electrical systems and logic controllers. Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing. Previous experience in supervising maintenance staff is a plus. Familiarity with residential painting techniques is desirable. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail are essential. Ability to work independently while managing multiple tasks efficiently.
